7 Ways To Stay Safe And To Keep The Medicinal Odour Away During The Pandemic

The Coronavirus outbreak has taken over our lives since the past six months. After almost four months of staying at home, we all have learnt to appreciate the little things in life. But you know what they say, the show must go on. Unlock 2.0 has now allowed us to move around but that does not mean that we’re free of the virus. We ought to be even more careful now for our safety and that of our loved ones.

We agree that wearing a mask and sanitizing our hands every time we touch something is a task. However, it’s inevitable and we have to accept it as a way of life now. But while we’re at it, we all wish we could at least keep the medicinal odour away! Here are a few ways to stay safe and smell even better!

Maintain at least a 6 feet distance from people around you

As the spread of this virus is through human contact, it is important to maintain a distance of 6 feet whenever you encounter anyone outside of your house. This is suggested because six feet is the average distance that this virus travels before it settles on any surface. So, whether you're standing in a queue while buying groceries, or are simply walking around in your street, it is imperative that you follow this rule.

Try to touch the least number of surfaces when you step out

It is possible that a person can get COVID by touching a surface that has already been touched by someone infected. Does that mean you can get the virus with doorknobs, ATMs etc? Yes! It's ideal to wear disposable gloves when you step out. Avoid using your phone as much as you can since the virus stays longest on a glass surface. Using a sanitizer at all times, especially when you step out is important. A sanitizer with a good fragrance will be perfect for you if you love to smell good and stay healthy at the same time.

Wash your hands often

Wash your hands when you step out, when you’re at home, while receiving a parcel or meeting someone new. Basically, washing your hands is a way of life. A hand wash that offers a refreshing lavender fragrance, will be your best pick for germ-free hands that smell amazing.

Disinfect anything that comes home from outside

Whether it’s a bag of veggies, a parcel or even home-delivered groceries, it is important to disinfect them. Germs stay on surfaces longer than we think.

Wash your clothes daily

Washing clothes daily may not be your jam but it is super important these days. If you’re someone who is meeting new people every day or are stepping out often, you need to make sure you’re washing your clothes on a regular basis. Germs stay on your clothes too, so keeping them in the laundry bag for too long can lead to faster spread of germs.

Use only a digital mode of payment

While we’re constantly worried about touching infected surfaces, we need to make sure that we try our best to reduce contact. Using a digital mode of payment in this situation is the most ideal thing to do. You will not be required to exchange money or touch surfaces that have a potential chance of being infected.

Carry a hand sanitizer spray at all times while outdoor

As we said, sanitizing is now a way of life. No matter what you do, where you go, it is important that you carry a hand sanitizer in your bag at all times.
