How to Make a 1 litre Pitcher of Vitamin Rich Tulsi Fruit Infusion

  • Use double the strength when serving Tulsi cooled.
  • Place 4-6 tea bags or 4-6 heaping teaspoons of Tulsi Original or Tulsi Green Tea in a water pitcher.
  • Pour 2 cups or 500 ml of freshly boiled water over the leaves or infusion bags.
  • Steep for 5 – 10 minutes or longer: the longer you steep, the stronger the infusion.
  • Strain the tea or remove the infusion bags.
  • Place 1 cup of sliced lemons or other citrus fruits into the steeped tea.
  • Stir in ½ cup of chopped mint leaves and add your favourite natural sweetener if desired.
  • Fill the pitcher to the top with fresh filtered water.
  • Cool the preparation in the refrigerator for several hours if possible, or add a little ice to serve immediately.

Tulsi Watermelon Mint Fruit Infusion or Two

  • Place 2 tea bags or 2 heaping teaspoons of Tulsi per serving in a water pitcher.
  • Pour in 1 cup of freshly boiled water.
  • Steep for 5 – 10 minutes or longer: the longer you steep, the stronger the infusion.
  • Place 50 grams of finely sliced watermelon into the steeped tea.
  • Stir in a handful of chopped mint leaves and add your favourite natural sweetener if desired, top up the glasses with fresh water if necessary.
  • Cool the preparation in the refrigerator for several hours if possible, or add a little ice to serve immediately.
