How to Make a 1 litre Pitcher of Vitamin Rich Tulsi Fruit Infusion
- Use double the strength when serving Tulsi cooled.

- Pour 2 cups or 500 ml of freshly boiled water over the leaves or infusion bags.
- Steep for 5 – 10 minutes or longer: the longer you steep, the stronger the infusion.
- Strain the tea or remove the infusion bags.
- Place 1 cup of sliced lemons or other citrus fruits into the steeped tea.
- Stir in ½ cup of chopped mint leaves and add your favourite natural sweetener if desired.
- Fill the pitcher to the top with fresh filtered water.
- Cool the preparation in the refrigerator for several hours if possible, or add a little ice to serve immediately.
You may like to try this combination too:
Tulsi Watermelon Mint Fruit Infusion or Two
- Place 2 tea bags or 2 heaping teaspoons of Tulsi per serving in a water pitcher.
- Pour in 1 cup of freshly boiled water.
- Steep for 5 – 10 minutes or longer: the longer you steep, the stronger the infusion.
- Place 50 grams of finely sliced watermelon into the steeped tea.
- Stir in a handful of chopped mint leaves and add your favourite natural sweetener if desired, top up the glasses with fresh water if necessary.
- Cool the preparation in the refrigerator for several hours if possible, or add a little ice to serve immediately.
