Welcome to the healing world of Ayurveda :)

Ayurveda is a system of medicine with historical roots in the Indian subcontinent. Globalized and modernized practices derived from Ayurveda traditions are a type of alternative medicine.

It is one of the world's oldest holistic (“whole-body”) healing systems. It was developed more than 5,000 years ago in India. In fact, its the health system from which all others originated→ Chinese , Western and Herbology included.

The Sanskrit word Ayurveda is composed of two words ; Ayus = life and Veda= knowledge, so it is the knowledge of life. In order to achieve complete health, you must have knowledge of all aspects of your life. This healing system combines the medical , emotional , spiritual and metaphysical , which are all interconnected.

Ayurveda aims into balancing the → body, mind and soul.

I'm a Certified Ayurvedic teacher , Herbalist , Nutritionist and Pharmacist. I discovered Ayurveda after completing my master studies in herbal medicine and fell into loving that exciting world. It provided me with the tools i needed to tap into the inner wisdom that i wished i have been learning Ayurveda years before!

This blog is not a set of rules and regulations by which to run your life. It is not a diet, new theory that will be irrelevant by the time you're done reading it. It's an old-age-healing science that has withstood the test of time, and we are returning to it for its tried and trued wisdom.

Are you ready to empower yourself to become your own healer and finally find the answers you seek inside yourself?!

Then i invite you to come on this journey to discover the ancient healing science of Ayurveda and begin applying it to your life today for radiant, lasting health.

Ayurveda for Moving into Spring 🌺

According to Ayurveda, one of the keys to maintaining health is to practice ritucharya—seasonal routines. Adjusting our daily self-care rituals to seasonal changes helps us maintain balance and reminds us that we are a part of the natural world. Spring is ruled by the kapha dosha , whose qualities are heavy, cool, soft, dense, stable, solid, and cloudy. To adjust for the season , consider the following practices: Wake with the sunrise . One of the best practices to minimize the heavy quality of kapha in the mind and body is to wake with the sun (around 5:30 am this time of year). Dawn is ruled by vata and is light, clear, and subtle. Get moving. When kapha is dominant in the day, the muscles are strongest between 6:00 and 10:00 am. Get outside for a brisk walk or do some vigorous yoga to melt away excess kapha. Kapalabhati pranayama is a great way to stoke the fires of digestion. Eat lighter foods. In the winter months, we naturally gravitate to...
